About the role
Northwind Labs builds a calm, well-tested billing service used by a few hundred small SaaS companies. We're hiring a senior backend engineer to own a major slice of that service — the invoice generation and reconciliation pipeline — together with one other engineer and a part-time PM.

What you'll do
- Design and ship changes to the invoice and reconciliation services.
- Pair with the data team on month-end close automation.
- Mentor one mid-level engineer and contribute to hiring.
- Help us keep our calm on-call rotation calm.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of backend experience, ideally with Go or a similar typed language.
- Comfort with relational databases and migrations under load.
- Clear written communication — we're an async-first team across 6 timezones.
- Genuine care for code review as a craft.
Compensation & benefits
- €85,000–€110,000 depending on experience.
