About Greenfield Care
Greenfield Care supports around 180 adults living independently across Greater Manchester. We're a small not-for-profit with strong ties to local NHS community teams and a stable, long-tenured workforce.
About the role
You'll visit four to six clients per shift, helping with medication reminders, light household tasks, companionship, and signposting to other services where needed. Most visits are 30 to 60 minutes and you travel between them by car or bus.
What we're looking for
- Warmth, patience, and good listening — everything else we can train.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete a DBS check.
- Reliable transport between visits (mileage reimbursed at HMRC rate).
What we offer
- £14.20 per hour, with paid travel time between visits.
- Guaranteed-hours contracts after a 3-month induction period.
- Full induction training and a named mentor for your first 6 months.
- 28 days pro-rata holiday and a small wellbeing fund.
